CRYSTALTON NEWS 2010End Of 2010
As mentioned earlier this year it was a busy year with the judging. The assignment in Japan in February and Australia in November was just great. Saw many wonderful dogs in both countries.
On the home front we contracted out an addition of an office/ dog room and whelping room for me, added on to our family room. A new deck was then added on which is covered and screened in so will make our summer days and evenings more pleasurable with the absents of bugs. However it has been a long and drawn out process. Almost complete.
It will be a busy start to the year with litters due for some of us. Then early spring Marly and Jerry Harvey and Gary and I plan to take our Motor Homes and drive to Maryland to attend PCA. Taking some time after the show to do a little travelling and sightseeing in that part of the country.
At this time I would like to wish you a Very Merry Xmas and Happy New Year
Two of the puppies from the Vegas Spencer litter made their ring debut late this year. Both half way to their Championships and Crystalton Suspence winning a Best Puppy In Group his very first day in the ring.
Two litters expected in January of 2011. First being CAN AM CH Crystalton Callie of Chikoda bred to
AM CH Avion Turbulence and Crystalton Centennial Treasure (Lexi) is bred to CAN AM CH Classique Scaramouche. Callie is due the beginning of January and will have, and raise her litter at home with Marly Harvey. Lexi is due towards the end of January and will also have and raise her litter at home with Brent and Jane Johnson.
We are planning to keep from both litters our future hopeful show dogs.
Crystalton Single Sinsation made his ting debut in the fall and achieved his Championship quickly with 2 Best Puppy In Groups. He is now growing up and hopefully will be our next special.
We have Mythical Reachín Crystalton bred to CAN AM BIS CH Crystaltonís Peanut. This litter will be born and raised here and is due the middle of January.
Here it is already half the year has done by, how time flies.
The early part of the year I was kept very busy with my judging so didnít make it to any shows to show anyone. However I did complete all my requirements to be an All Breed Judge. I did have one exciting assignment this spring judging in Japan. And one this fall will be going to Australia.
We did make a few shows where we showed the young girls, Crystalton Say it again (Sadie) and Crystalton Says it All (Sassy). Both finished their championships at the Edmonton weekend with the Pomeranian National Specialty.
Our young hopeful Crystalton Single Sinsation (Uno) will make his ring debut this fall.
It was a busy spring with two litters of Standards born. Can Am Ch Kimberís Leaving Las Vegas was bred to Can Am Ch Classique Scaramouche, and had 3 girls and 3 boys. Three of which will be shown in the future. One boy who stayed with me and one boy who went to Linda Higgitt of the east coast, and the girl who is residing with Tanis Garner of Classique. I would like to thank Val Searby who Vegas lives with for doing such a great job of raising the litter to when they came to my place.
The second litter was Ch Crystalton Centennial Treasure bred to Can Am Ch Crystalton Christopher which was 6 boys and 1 girl. All have now gone to their new homes with one boy going to make the show scene with a young junior handler Hannah Lantz of Edmonton. Thanks to Brent and Jane Johnson for doing a great job of raising this litter.
Our young girl Crystalton Zoom At Brushwood, co-owned with Dennis Sumara, made her debut to the show ring in June and finished her Championship by the middle of June by going Winners female at the Canadian National Poodle specialty and the Alberta Poodle specialty. She will be bred in the future.
